The artist I chose to do was Chris Brown as he specializes around the genre of R&B which is the same genre as our chosen song/artists. The song I chose to look into 'New Flame' released on 30th June 2014 and it was from his album 'X' which was released on 15th September 2014. The album sold around 146.000 copies in the first week.

The single I chose from the album was the song 'New flame' which feature Usher as well as Rick Ross. The key features in the music video used to brand the artists are yet again the colour schemes. This is because Chris Brown, Rick Ross and Usher are all shown with outfits of the colour white, which is one of the colours shown on the front cover.
In the shot above, we can see that the name of the album is in fact in the background standing out by being shown with fire. This is another key feature.
In the shot below, there's a female standing in the middle of the stairs wearing a red dress. This is another key feature as it continues the colour shown on the front of the cover which is red.
For other promotional material for the album, I couldn't find a teaser trailer for the album the closest I found was a video where Chris Brown is showing one of the song from his album by playing it in the background. Or other videos on youtube where it's just showing preview of the album.
Other promotional material was rare to find as there was no magazine advert but there was adverts and announcements by Chris Brown himself. for example, he announced the release date for his album would be on September 16 2014 and also on his Twitter account we can find an advert shown as his picture profile.
Overall, the main key features used to create a brand identity for the artists across all the products is not the most usual type. For example, although the colour schemes in both the front cover of the album and the music video 'New Flame' are used and have a link, the fact that there is rarely any other promotional material can tell us that the promotion of the album relies on Chris Brown himself as he appeared on television shows to promote the album and announced the release date through social networks.
