Laura Mulvey's created a theory based on her research watching many music videos. Within her research she found that  a males pleasure in looking at a women and her body has now become socially accepted thus has a women accepted being seen as pleasurable or a 'sexual' object. she also found that the female body is now styled to a man's desire meaning breast and bottom on show.
